Depending on your equipment, setup and Internet connection you may have to allow for downloading time for videoand audio to load.
You may have to left click or right click - left click and click play to trigger video content to run, depending on browser and/or operating system.
If you see an empty frame w/o video, be advised that some videos may
not be viewable on your monitor; you need a fast monitor (~ 6 msec or better)
to see some videos.
You may also need to load a file specific (usually free) player software
into your machine, such as Quick
Time or Adobe Flash.
You can launch a Windows Player or Quick Time file delivery
by clicking on a play icon or a linked picture such as this.
Note that your cursor changes shape when it's driven over an active icon.
Again, if you see an empty frame w/o video, some videos may not be viewable on your monitor, you need a fast monitor (~ 6 msec or better) to see some videos.
You can also launch a Windows Player or Quick Time directly by evoking the movie 's file name,
e.g.: http://home.comcast.net/~delarte/Teslapaint.mov
quite unlike Macromedia Flash delivery which requires loading a driver from
Adobe,
it will kick in automatically from a delivery page
if
your browser is enabled, and your player is installed.
You may have to allow the video content to be played.
To do this: > Right click on the protection bar (pop up) and under the
address space "allow blocked" content.
All of our films have been scanned for virus content before they were added
to this site.
You can launch a Macromedia Flash delivery
by clicking on a play icon or linked picture such as this:
System/browser notes for Windows driven PC's:
Playing these sequences depends on your computers capabilities and setup, delivery under Windows XP or Windows 2000 with an appropriate graphics card and sound system helps. To achieve continuous flow it may be necessary to widen your transfer acceptance.
To do this you must permit your browser to allow for broader maximum disc memory use;
e.g.: in Windows Explorer drill down from the top rail menu:
> tools >internet options >general >settings >push the slider
to max..
To broaden internet file capabilities; go to:
>start > control panel > internet options > temporary internet files > settings > widen the acceptance of file sizes > OK out .
You may also be prompted to install the latest version of Macromedia Flash,
once installed the movie will kick in automatically after permission is
granted.
Hope this helps, unfortunately there are too many variations on the subject
matter to all be covered.
