Photo-
and Art excursions into the California
desert.
For those who want to take better pictures and have
more fun with their equipment.
I offer the experience of more than twenty years
of frequenting the
Death Valley region with
intent to commit art.
I have
walked and scoured much of the Valley in search for aesthetic images with
large, medium and small format cameras and with pencil and pad in hand.
Tours
are privately arranged and held to increments of three people because
of off
road and four wheel drive considerations.

You must provide your own gear, camera, at least
a passenger car, camping equipment, food and drink. If
you do not wish to camp there is usually opportunity to stay in motels
along the way. I will instruct
and discuss frequently during the course of the day. We will explore
many of the great spots in the right light at the right time of the day;
and cover many aspects of photography and art; from the right cropping
to the proper color temperature.
Instruction can be given in German and/or English
Tours cover typically 5 days in the desert and lead,
depending on the usually somewhat temperamental winter weather through Death
Valley, OwensValley
and/or adjacent areas such as the Mojave Desert
region.
If you drive you must be over 21, a good driver
with a clean driving record, capable of autonomous action, have your own
